POSITION SUMMARY The Joe & The Juice Team is looking for a highly motivated, skilled tax professional to join our in-house tax team. Based in New York City, this role will report into the Senior Manager, Tax, in Copenhagen. The Manager of Tax will be a key member of the tax team, responsible for the day-to-day operations, including the accuracy and timeliness of compliance and tax reporting matters. This position will support direct and indirect tax compliance and tax accounting matters for Joe & The Juice's US and global operations. The role will partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to support them with all tax related matters. The role interfaces with partners across the organization, including the Accounting, Treasury, HR, Finance, Real estate & Growth and Legal teams to optimize existing processes, solve business challenges, design new workflows, and implement new technology solutions to drive efficient and accurate reporting. You will be responsible for strengthening relationships with third party advisors. You will be a critical member in the development of an adaptive Tax department that continues to scale to support Joe & The Juice's growth goals. The ideal candidate takes a proactive approach towards driving quality results, thrives in a fast-paced environment, thinks creatively, and strives to consistently exceed expectations. Primary responsibilities include: • Manage U.S. federal, state and local, and foreign income tax return filings with third party service providers;, • Manage sales and use tax filings, including future registrations;, • Evaluate sales taxability of Joe & the Juice products based on applicable state and local regulations;, • Manage annual extension process, including remittance of payments;, • Maintain documentation of ASC 740 tax positions;, • Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A departments on tax reporting matters;, • Partner with Accounting to ensure transfer pricing agreements are adhered to and appropriately recorded;, • Develop strong relationships and collaboration with the Real Estate & Growth team and build out process for entering new states for tax compliance;, • Partner with Legal to support the drafting and submission of voluntary disclosure agreements;, • Ensure accurate, timely filing of all business-related filings, including franchise, property and commercial rent tax returns;, • Manage inquiries from government authorities, including notice resolution and audits;, • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and communicate the effects of these developments;, • Understand and conduct research on tax issues to support inquires from the business;, • Maintain control environment by adhering to requirements and updating documentation;, • Develop strong relationships with Accounting department to maximize opportunities for automation of data and ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency;, • Identify and implement technological and procedural improvements with a strong commitment to detail;, • Provide ad hoc support on various projects; EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION • 4-6 years working in the corporate tax function and/or a public accounting/tax advisory firm, exposure to international tax or multi-jurisdictional compliance preferred.;, • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field;, • CPA required; MBA or JD with tax concentration a plus;, • Excellent project management skills with proactive approach towards driving quality results;, • Significant experience in ASC 740 and tax related financial reporting;, • Exposure to global transfer pricing rules and regulations are preferred;, • Experience with tax provisioning software and Avalara is a plus, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization and articulate complex information;, • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment with small team., • Compensation- $130,000- $150,000 Joe & the Juice is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.     Date: Tuesday, August 25, 2026 Time: 11:00AM- 3:00PM Positions: MA, LPN, RN Medical Assistant Locations: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens Job Description: Patient Care: Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate information is recorded, including vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns. Venipuncture & Specimen Collection: Perform blood draws, urine dipsticks, stool collection, and rapid tests such as Strep, Flu, COVID, and RSV, ensuring proper labeling and handling of all specimens. Diagnostic Testing: Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing, and assist in other diagnostic procedures under the direct supervision of a Physician or APP. Clinical Assistance: Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits and procedures, and assist providers during physical exams and in-office treatments. Instrument Sterilization: Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical equipment and instruments to ensure patient safety and infection control. Laboratory Support: Operate and maintain lab equipment such as CBC analyzers and urinalysis machines; prepare, process, and store specimens appropriately (room temp, refrigerated, or frozen). Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Medical Assistant Certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 1 year of relevant experience in outpatient care or lab settings. Proficient in EMR/LIS systems (e.g., LABDAQ). Reliable transportation to travel between NYCBS locations. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals. Monitor and chart vital signs, document in the medication administration record Requirements: Valid New York State RN License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with an EMR (preferred) Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs At least 1 year of experience in an oncology outpatient center or at least 1 year of experience in administering medications preferred.
