Primary Purpose We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team in Irving, TX. This is an in-office position. The SDR will focus on outbound prospecting, cold calling, and appointment-setting to generate qualified meetings and pipeline for Territory Managers across the region. This is an important role in our continually expanding sales team, ideal for a goal-driven communicator who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (cold calls, emails, social) to healthcare prospects (hospitals, long-term care facilities, health systems) within assigned territory., • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into booked meetings for Territory Managers., • Research prospects and build targeted lists; tailor outreach messaging to stakeholder roles (e.g., Director of Nursing, CTO, Clinical Engineering, VP of Operations)., • Maintain accurate CRM records (activities, contact information, opportunity status) and follow established sales processes. Austco currently uses Zoho., • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Sales Leadership to refine messaging, cadences, and target lists., • Achieve weekly/monthly pipeline generation targets., • Participate in team meetings, training, and role-plays to continuously improve performance., • Provide market feedback and intelligence to support territory strategy. Required Qualifications and Experience • 1–3 years of outbound sales, BDR/SDR, or telephone-based appointment-setting experience (healthcare experience strongly preferred)., • Strong phone presence, excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Self-starter with persistence, resilience, and a track record of meeting assigned targets., • Comfortable using CRM systems (Zoho/Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools., • Ability to research and quickly understand healthcare facility structures and buying roles., • Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite in Irving, TX. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in selling technology, medical devices, clinical software, or services to hospitals or long-term care., • Familiarity with decision-making processes in acute care and post-acute settings., • Knowledge of consultative selling and value-based messaging.
