Basic Purpose: Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform preventative maintenance within company standards. * Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM list and parts accountability. * Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed. * Keep track of assigned repairs by logging in and out of the software system. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines. * Maintain inventory and proper recordkeeping. * Backup to other maintenance shop personnel. * Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and Certifications. * Performs other duties as assigned. Position Summary The Field Systems Engineer (FSE) is responsible for attending to service needs of bioMerieux customers within their assigned geographic territory, as well as nationally, on an as-needed basis, utilizing appropriate tools and test equipment. Job Description Summary: Responsible for the execution, implementation and close supervision of the preventative maintenance system, to ensure preservation and upkeep of all buildings. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Regular inspection of buildings and grounds, notifying deficiencies of operating employees and service contractors, physical appearance of property, deferred maintenance and other related data to the Property Manager., • Trains, leads and becomes a resource to support staff to ensure staff is performing to expectation, informed of company policies, procedures, schedules all tasks are completed correctly, with attention detail and in a timely manner.*, • Supervises and assists subordinates in the cleaning of the community buildings, laundry rooms, office building, maintenance shop, storage areas, grounds, daily collection of debris on landscaped areas and continual sweeping of parking lot and dumpster areas.*, • Assists with the development and preparation and execution of property objectives, financials and goals including input for the preparation of the annual budget, business plan, rent increases, bid specifications and management of competitive bids and contract performance evaluation.*, • Accurate and timely completion of annual Unit Inspection and inventory of all project maintenance equipment and submittal to the Property Manager by December 1st of each year.*, • Responsible for timely initial response to HUD, HFA, state and local inspection reports. *, • Policing and inspection of buildings, pool, play area and overall grounds, as well as, noting any deficiencies of the physical appearance of the property and any other related data and reporting same to the Property Manager or Executive Property Manager.*, • Preparation and participation of emergency procedure manual and subsequent drills.
