Basic Job Functions: The Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility-scale energy storage systems. This role supports system uptime and performance through scheduled maintenance, real-time fault response, and root-cause diagnostics of electrical and control systems. Working closely with site operations, OEMs, and remote monitoring teams, the technician ensures reliable system performance across components such as inverters, battery modules, fire suppression, HVAC, and SCADA.
