Job Description Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with HR Generalist experience to lead our bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now. While the primary responsibility of this role is accurate, end-to-end payroll execution, the position also supports broader HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. ADP payroll experience is essential, as the role includes end-to-end payroll processing, auditing, and compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Payroll Processing: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll using ADP, including team member data changes, deductions, and timekeeping review., • Team Member Onboarding: Assist the Recruiting Manager with the coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation and ensure completion of all onboarding documentation., • Benefits Administration: Assist team members with benefit enrollments, changes, and questions. Support open enrollment activities., • HR Compliance: Maintain team member records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist in audits and policy updates., • Team Member Relations: Respond to team members inquiries and escalate issues as needed. Support team member engagement and recognition initiatives., • Recruitment Manager Support: Post job openings, screen applicants, and schedule interviews in partnership with hiring managers., • HRIS Management: Maintain and update team members information in ADP and other HR systems., • Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred., • Experience: 2–3 years of HR experience with direct responsibility for processing payroll in ADP Workforce Now., • Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance requirements., • Strong organizational and time management skills., • Excellent communication and people skills., • Experience with additional HR platforms or applicant tracking systems (ATS)., • Prior experience in a multi-state or remote workforce environment. Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set. Position offers benefits, including health, life, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, as well as 401k, flexible work, and paid time off. For New York City Applicants: Salary range: $20.00 – $30.00/hr., plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The anticipated salary range is for candidates who will work in New York City. The salary offered to a successful candidate will depend upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
