Job Summary SEVA Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day construction site operations, subcontractor coordination, client communication, weekly meetings, Procore documentation, safety, quality control, and overall field execution. The ideal candidate must be a strong field leader with the ability to manage multiple trades, resolve field conflicts, maintain schedules, coordinate inspections, and represent the company professionally with clients and project stakeholders. The candidate should be highly organized, proactive, confident in managing subcontractors, experienced with Procore, and capable of maintaining smooth construction progress from mobilization through project closeout. Required Experience • Minimum 10+ years of construction field experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role., • Strong experience managing commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, warehouse, manufacturing, or complex tenant-improvement construction projects., • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors, vendors, field staff, inspectors, and client representatives on active construction sites., • Experience leading projects from mobilization through closeout, including site logistics, daily coordination, inspections, punch list, and turnover.Field Management Skills, • Ability to manage daily construction activities and keep the project moving smoothly., • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and field coordination requirements., • Ability to coordinate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and fire alarm trades., • Capable of identifying field conflicts early and working with the project manager, design team, and subcontractors to resolve them quickly., • Experience maintaining site cleanliness, manpower planning, material deliveries, equipment coordination, and site access control.Subcontractor Coordination, • Ability to schedule, coordinate, and hold subcontractors accountable for manpower, productivity, safety, quality, and schedule commitments., • Experience conducting daily coordination meetings and weekly subcontractor meetings., • Ability to track subcontractor progress and push the team to meet milestone dates., • Strong leadership skills to manage people firmly but professionally.Client & Meeting Coordination, • Comfortable communicating directly with owners, client representatives, project managers, design professionals, inspectors, and consultants., • Ability to conduct weekly construction meetings, prepare agendas, review progress, discuss open items, and follow up on action items., • Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written., • Ability to represent SEVA professionally in front of clients and project stakeholders.Procore / Documentation, • Strong working knowledge of Procore or similar construction management software., • Ability to manage daily logs, photos, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, meeting minutes, observations, inspections, schedules, and project correspondence., • Must be disciplined in maintaining proper project records and documentation., • Ability to upload site photos, track progress, document delays, and maintain organized project communication.Schedule & Planning, • Ability to read and manage construction schedules., • Experience with look-ahead schedules, weekly work plans, milestone tracking, and subcontractor sequencing., • Ability to identify schedule risks and communicate them before they become delays., • Experience coordinating long-lead materials, inspections, shutdowns, tie-ins, utility work, and phased construction.Safety & Quality Control, • Strong understanding of OSHA safety requirements and jobsite safety practices., • OSHA 30 certification preferred or required., • Ability to enforce safety rules, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain a safe construction environment., • Strong quality-control mindset with ability to review work in progress before it becomes a costly rework issue., • Ability to manage inspections, testing, punch lists, and final turnover documentation.Leadership & Personality, • Must be a strong field leader who can take ownership without constant supervision., • Calm under pressure and able to solve problems quickly., • Organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented., • Must be comfortable managing people, pushing schedules, and holding subcontractors accountable., • Should be proactive, not someone who waits for instructions., • Must be able to balance client satisfaction, project quality, schedule, safety, and cost control. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with pharmaceutical, cleanroom, manufacturing, utility-heavy, or MEP-intensive projects., • Strong understanding of MEP coordination, especially HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process utility work., • Experience working in occupied buildings or phased construction environments., • Ability to coordinate with township officials, building inspectors, fire marshals, utility companies, and third-party testing agencies., • Procore certification is a plus., • OSHA 30 required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
