Job Description The Director of Logistics and Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping Linstol’s ability to deliver excellence to airline partners across North and South America. We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven, and hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced global environments and brings both operational rigor and innovative thinking to the table. This individual will not only oversee production, warehousing, logistics, and on-time deliveries, but will also act as a change-maker building high performing teams, driving process improvements, and forging strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Working closely with the commercial team, this leader will ensure that operational execution is tightly aligned with business growth objectives, enabling Linstol to continue setting the standard in aviation logistics and sustainability. Key Responsibilities • Leadership & Operational Oversight, • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics, warehouse, production, and inventory specialists with a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement., • Provide leadership and strategic direction to account management team to ensure strategies, policies, and practices align with the company’s values and strategic goals., • Oversee day-to-day operations including logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory flow ensuring flawless on-time delivery and world-class customer satisfaction., • Implement and train best practices in supply chain efficiency., • Direct the daily problem solving to ensure on-time deliveries and client satisfaction., • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to account management team to develop individual strengths and foster professional growth., • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to account management team on supply chain processes and procedures., • Conduct individual and team meetings, manage time, attendance, and performance., • Demand Planning & Forecasting, • Drive operational innovation by implementing advanced forecasting, planning, and digital supply chain tools to stay ahead of customer and market demands., • Build statistical and collaborative forecasts using historical data, market intelligence, and sales insights., • Monitor and improve forecast accuracy to meet KPIs., • Supply Planning & Inventory Management, • Align demand plans with production capacity, • Optimize inventory levels to balance service and working capital., • Plan and schedule movement of stock for items held in inventory and with suppliers for various customers., • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure product orders are being dispatched on time and in full., • Ensure forecasts and orders are provided in a timely manner to the supply base., • Ensure accurate import/export documentation and compliance with international trade regulations., • Address customer complaints related to orders, providing timely feedback to suppliers and key stakeholders., • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to prevent operational disruptions., • Analytics & Continuous Improvement, • Develop and execute strategies to ensure process standardization, data-driven decision-making, and adoption of advanced technologies that improve efficiency, compliance, cost reduction, and scalability., • Support ERP/APS tool upgrades and adoption of data-driven decision-making., • Provide regular reporting, budgets, and analysis to clients and internal stakeholders to support commercial decision-making and continuous improvement., • Ensure smooth coordination between production, procurement, and sales teams to meet customer demands., • Supplier & Stakeholder Relationship Management, • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of products and services., • Negotiate with suppliers and logistics partners to secure best value, agility, and service, while cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and airline partners., • Ensure smooth coordination between production, procurement, and sales teams to meet customer demands., • Commercial Partnership & Support, • Partner closely with the commercial team to align operational execution with customer commitments, new product launches, RFP/tender processes, and long-term business growth strategies., • Collaborate with Sales to ensure customer requirements are translated into efficient supply chain solutions that drive both client satisfaction and profitability., • Ensure all interested parties are kept up to date with projects with proper project plans and timelines managed., • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, logistics, or related field. Master’s Degree in related field a plus., • 5+ years in logistics, transportation, warehouse or supply chain management, with proven leadership experience managing diverse trams in global environments., • Strong supply chain knowledge including: Demand Planning, Demand Sensing, Production and Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Logistics, Transportation, Data and Analytics., • Strong business, financial awareness, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align operational execution to commercial goals, support tenders/RFPs, and enhance customer profitability., • Strong project management skills, with experience running dynamic, inter-departmental, and customer-facing projects., • A change-maker’s mindset: process improvement, technology adoption, and continuous innovation come naturally., • Excellent problem-solving and people management skills., • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and value-driven client experience., • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a track record of resolving challenges and turning them into opportunities., • Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and data analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements., • Knowledge of international shipping and import/export regulations., • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Company DescriptionFor over three decades, Linstol has been setting the standard in aviation by designing, developing, and manufacturing in-flight passenger headsets, earbuds, comforts, accessories, and consumables.
