Role Overview: As a Mortgage Closer/Funder, you will coordinate the closing and funding processes under the guidance of the Funding Manager. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of mortgage loan documentation and compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements before the funds are disbursed. Key Responsibilities: • Document Review: Verify loan documents for accuracy and completeness before disbursement., • Fund Availability: Ensure availability of funds, including down payments, lender funds, and third-party contributions., • Coordinate Funding Packages: Prepare and submit loan packages, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards., • Clear Conditions for Closing and Funding: Work with processors, underwriters, and other parties to clear outstanding conditions before funding., • Disbursement Coordination: Collaborate with title companies, escrow agents, and settlement agents to facilitate the timely disbursement of funds., • Wire Transfers: Initiate and manage wire transfers for fund disbursement., • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all funding activities are compliant with relevant regulations (TRID, RESPA, etc.)., • Post-Funding Quality Control: Conduct post-funding quality control and maintain accurate records of funds disbursed., • Continuous Improvement: Assist in improving processes related to loan funding, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and borrower satisfaction., • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, • Minimum of 3-4 years of recent RETAIL residential closing/funding experience, • Non-QM, Conventional and Government loan experience required, • Thorough knowledge of TRID and RESPA LE/CD requirements, • Strong aptitude for detail, accuracy, and organization, • Ability to prioritize and multitask with ease, • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Negotiable Benefits: • Health insurance
