Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 09/15/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job Location: 3020 Childrens Way San Diego, CA 92123 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Position Overview: • Shift: 3x12 hrs (variable or straight nights), • Start Date: 9/15 only, • Experience: Minimum 2 years NICU Level 4 (Level 3 with strong surgical experience considered, must mention in submittal), • First-time travelers: Accepted, • Weekend: Must be flexible to work weekends as needed (no fixed weekend schedule), • On-call: No, • Floating: Required within scope; includes PICU, CVICU, and NICU satellites (Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Encinitas, Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Mercy), • RTO: Max 6 days, no holiday RTO (including weekend after Thanksgiving), • Guaranteed Hours: After call-off policy met, • Locals: Not accepted, • BLS required, • Advanced NRP required, • CA RN license, • Cardiac experience, • Own transportation, • Comfortable with ventilators, specialty gases, PICC/Broviac/UAC/UVC/PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, G-Tubes, line changes, and pre/post-op care, • Top 10 Children’s Hospital (U.S. News & World Report), • Magnet recognized, Beacon Award Excellence, • Level 1 trauma center, • Scrubs: Any color except black (black reserved for ED), • Charting: Epic Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
