As a host on our team, you will utilize your strong interpersonal skills to assist the servers in creating a positive impression of the restaurant’s hospitality, excellent service, and high standards. You will greet guests upon arrival, thank them upon leaving, have professional & hospitable communication, and set the tone for a great experience. Hosts monitor the flow of the restaurant through managing seating, reservations, and wait lists. The fast-paced and high-energy environment will challenge you as you play an important role in the overall success of the restaurant and guest experience. Compensation & Benefits: • $17.25 per hour plus tips, • Paid Sick Leave, • Flexible schedule, • Discounts on meals, • Contribute to Our Mission, Every Guest Leaves Happy, through teamwork, hospitality, proactive communication, and helping outside your role as needed., • Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a smile, eye contact, and genuine hospitality., • Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service., • Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests as appropriate., • Tend to special guest needs and requests with hospitality and a sense of urgency., • Observant to guests' needs throughout dining experience and communicate needs proactively to ensure they receive high quality service., • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies., • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment., • Respond urgently and appropriately to guests’ and coworkers’ needs., • Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms., • Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems., • Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies., • Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return., • A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team., • Passion for providing extraordinary service., • Must be upbeat, outgoing, and positive., • Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills., • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time., • Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area., • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts., • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe., • Must be able to carry trays or supplies (up to 25 lbs.), • Food Handler Certification.
