She/he is also responsible for daily cleaning and housekeeping activities. Provides direct patient care., 13. Ensures reporting of communicable diseases and infection in accordance with applicable law., 14. Ensures facility adherence to infection control policy., 15. Assists in the development of collaborative relationships with other institutions and agencies such as general or specialty hospitals and nursing homes, health-related facilities, home health agencies, hospital outpatient departments, diagnostic and treatment facilities, laboratories and other healthcare service provider organizations., 16. Participates in the recruitment and hiring of medical personnel., 17. Participates in development and implementation of QA and CQI activities., 18. Job Description PART-TIME Need! MAJOR FUNCTION: The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for overall operations of the medication administration process under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Consultant Pharmacist. The Specialist will monitor claims and approvals, and coordinate internally and externally, to ensure uninterrupted service provision. This position is responsible for all verbal and written documentation as required by payers. Candidates must understand the various aspects of the managed care system including LOCATDR 3 criteria, behavioral health benefits, precertification, utilization review, peer reviews, discharge reviews, and appeals. MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Under the guidance of the Head Cook and Director of Food Services, the Cook prepares all recipes and meals. Qualifications for Position ▪ New York State Certified Recovery Peer Advocate or Provisional CRPA preferred. ▪ CARC preferred. ▪ Lived experience in recovery from substance use disorder. ▪ 2 years of direct care work experience with individuals at risk for, or with a substance use disorder. S/he is responsible for daily cleaning and housekeeping activities. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct regular facility inspections to assess standards and identify areas of concern., • Responsible for emergency and minor repairs to be completed in a timely fashion., • Responsible for responding to consumer work orders in a timely fashion., • Responsible for ensuring bedroom/apartment maintenance, cleanliness and inspection prior to arrival of new consumers., • Ongoing housekeeping and cleanliness of facility of all public areas., • Meet monthly for supervision with assigned supervisor., • Clean floors, windows, fixtures, offices, stairs, restrooms and doors. This cleaning process is normally done with brooms, mops, brushes and cleaning cloths., • Use of various machines such as buffer, vacuum cleaners, carpet machine, etc., • Responsible for the removal of snow in the winter from parking lots, driveways and other areas that might prevent the resident/tenant to enter.
