Job Description Kelly Services is hiring for a premier facility in Georgetown, Texas for a Inventory Control Clerk 1st shift 7am-3:45pm M-F Pay $17.00 This department is responsible for managing the processing of non-conforming materials that come from the production line. The MRS department plays a key role in ensuring that ZT Systems' quality standards are met by efficiently handling and addressing defective parts. The MRS Agent is responsible for supporting the processing and disposition of non-conforming materials that arise during the production process. This role ensures proper handling, documentation, and coordination of materials within the Material Review Station (MRS) area to maintain quality standards and production efficiency. What You Will Do: • Material Handling and Inspection:, • Identify, label, segregate, and place non-conforming materials in the designated MRS area., • Locate and verify materials for review, potentially including pulling and verifying materials based on production orders., • Potentially support the movement of materials to and from production lines and within the MRS area., • Documentation and Data Entry:, • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to non-conforming materials, including non-conformance reports (NCRs)., • Enter and manage data in relevant systems (e.g., ERP systems like Oracle, SAP)., • Support the tracking of deviations and discrepancies, communicating issues to the MRS Supervisor and other relevant teams., • Support for the MRS Process:, • Adhere to established MRS processes and procedures, ensuring proper handling and disposition of materials., • Coordinate with various departments (e.g., manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) to facilitate timely disposition of materials., • Potentially participate in failure analysis, sort, and rework activities as needed., • Maintain a neat and orderly MRS area, potentially following 6S or Lean methodologies., • May assist in updating and maintaining reports related to non-conforming materials., • Collaboration and Communication:, • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and resolve issues related to non-conforming materials., • High School diploma or equivalent., • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred., • Strong data entry and analytical skills., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)., • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is a plus., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable., • Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift (minimum of 30 lbs unassisted), and stand for extended periods., • Knowledge of computer components and parts is preferred., • Ability to use a pallet jack is a plus.
