At Hope Bridge Home RTC, a licensed residential treatment center in Austin, Texas, we’re seeking a Treatment Director to lead our clinical program with expertise, compassion, and vision. About Us Operated by Apostolic Bridge Builders, Inc., Hope Bridge Home RTC is a licensed sanctuary for boys and girls aged 6-17 in Austin, Texas. We provide a faith-informed, trauma-sensitive environment where children heal from abuse, neglect, and emotional or behavioral challenges. With a manageable initial caseload of three children, our evidence-based programs and expert care break cycles of adversity, nurture resilience and unlock each child’s boundless potential. Role Overview As the Treatment Director, you will shape the heart of our therapeutic mission. You will oversee the development, implementation, and management of our treatment program, ensuring every child receives tailored, high-quality care (§748.603(a)(1)). With clinical responsibility for therapeutic interventions and overall program direction (§748.603(a)(2)), you’ll lead a dedicated team to achieve transformative outcomes while adhering to Texas Minimum Standards (§748.603(b)) Key Responsibilities · Program Leadership: Design and direct individualized treatment plans that foster emotional, behavioral, and developmental growth (§748.603(a)). · Therapeutic Oversight: Provide or supervise assessments, individual and group therapy, and family therapy using trauma-informed, evidence-based practices (§748.603(a)(1)). · Team Supervision: Mentor and oversee contracted therapists and staff to ensure exceptional service delivery (§748.603(b)). · Collaboration: Work closely with case managers, childcare administrators, and caregivers to deliver integrated, holistic care (§748.603). · Program Evaluation: Assess treatment efficacy, refine interventions as needed, and maintain accurate clinical records (§748.603). · Training & Support: Empower caregivers and staff with ongoing training to enhance their impact on children’s outcomes. · Compliance: Ensure the program meets regulatory standards and addresses the diverse needs of all children in treatment (§748.603(b)). · A Professional Level Service Provider must hold a master’s degree in a human services field and possess the licensure, training, and supervised experience required under 26 TAC §748 to provide professional therapeutic services to children in residential care. Qualifications Education & Licensure: Candidates must meet one of the following Texas Minimum Standards (§748.605), based on the population served: · For Children with Emotional Disorders: o Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychologist (MD or PhD); OR o Master’s degree in a human services field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling) from an accredited institution, with licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); AND o Three years of experience providing treatment services to children with emotional disorders, including one year in a residential setting. · For Children with Intellectual Disabilities: o Licensed Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Registered Nurse; OR o Texas Education Agency certification as an Educational Diagnostician, a Master’s degree in Special Education or a human services field, and three years of experience with relevant populations. Experience & Skills: · Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a clinical or residential setting. · Proficiency in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. · Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to connect with staff, families, and community partners. · Experience with trafficking victims or underserved populations is a strong asset. · Multicultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds. · A compassionate, patient demeanor and a talent for building trust with children. Additional Requirements: · U.S. work authorization and reliable transportation. · Successful completion of a background check. · Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights, with on-call duties as needed.
