Kitchen Tune-Up Round Rock is seeking a Lead Carpenter with expert-level finish carpentry skills to take charge of high-quality kitchen and bathroom cabinetry projects. Our work includes cabinet refacing, custom cabinet installs, and custom vanities for bathroomsand were looking for someone who takes pride in clean, efficient, precision-driven craftsmanship and is looking to learn new techniques and desires a stable, well-paying career. Youll be the lead on site, supported by an apprentice who handles prep, cleanup, and assistive tasks. Materials, logistics, and client communication are handled by our office so you can stay focused on delivering outstanding results. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Accompany the owner to accurately measure jobs after sale and assess the scope of work., • Lead full kitchen remodels, including cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, trim, and painting., • Install custom cabinets and vanities with precision and attention to detail., • Lead and complete custom cabinetry, refacing, and redooring projects., • Apply wood veneer, install doors and drawer fronts, drill for hinges, align soft-close hardware, and ensure seamless finishes., • Install rollout trays, panels, toe kicks, molding, hardware, and related accessories., • Review and follow all job documentation, including measurements, layouts, and material lists., • Interpret design plans and deliver precision installations according to specifications., • Operate and maintain power and hand tools safely, including table saws, band saws, routers, planers, and powered nail guns., • Prepare and stage materials for each project to ensure smooth workflow., • Oversee site safety, organization, and daily progress., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite every day., • Communicate clearly and professionally with the project manager, team members, and homeowners., • Direct and mentor the apprentice to maintain pace and quality standards., • Drive on-time project completion through efficiency and high workmanship standards., • Represent Kitchen Tune-Up professionally by wearing branded attire and adhering to the companys 5 Trustpoints on every job site. WHO YOU ARE • 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry, cabinetry, or remodeling., • Deep knowledge of cabinetry construction, veneer application, and trim installation., • Able to use table saws, routers, brad nailers, planers, jigs, and hand tools confidently and safely., • Strong sense of ownership, organization, and customer professionalism., • Ability to take and verify accurate measurements and read install plans., • Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle., • We offer substantial training and lucrative compensation for those willing to work inside of a process, keep a sharp eye for detail, remodel the expectations of our clients, and work hard., • You will be working in some of the nicest homes in our community.
