As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Representative to join our expanding team. Position Summary: The Sales Representative will serve as the face of VCH Flooring, visiting customer properties to assess flooring and remodeling needs, take precise measurements, present product and service options, and deliver on-site estimates. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and a sales-driven mindset. Key Responsibilities: Attend scheduled appointments and arrive on time. Visit client sites to assess project scope and take accurate measurements. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Prepare and present competitive on-site estimates. Maintain consistent follow-ups to close sales and offer post-visit support. Respond to all customer inquiries professionally and promptly. Clearly communicate product/service benefits and differentiators. Maintain relationships with customers and crews post-sale. Maintain accurate bid tracking and follow-up procedures. Contribute to business growth through proactive lead generation and networking. Utilize company CRM to manage workflow and client communications. Set and meet targets for sales volume, closing ratio, and profitability. Communication & Collaboration: Foster positive communication with company leadership, office staff, and field personnel. Represent the company with integrity and professionalism in all client interactions. Ensure job details are accurately communicated to crew leaders. Engage in team collaboration to optimize job performance and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, preferably in home remodeling, flooring, or construction. Ability to interpret layout plans and take precise on-site measurements. Strong communication and people skills. Results-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated. Proficiency in using computers/tablets for estimates and CRM entry. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required. Positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to a team-oriented culture. Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission. Opportunities for career advancement and growth within the company.
