THE PURPOSE: The Associate Manager, Production – Denim (Off-Price) serves as the operational backbone of our denim development process, ensuring that upstream inputs, timelines, and cross-functional communications are aligned to meet seasonal GTM calendar deadlines. This role is responsible for managing the full denim product development lifecycle—from initial sketch through production-ready garments—across True Religion's global vendor base. The ideal candidate will play a key role in keeping development on track and contribute to True Religion's continued growth by producing high-quality, cost-engineered denim products that reflect our brand standards and show up on time, every time. THE ROLE (what you are accountable for): • Own the denim product development lifecycle from SMS through production-ready garments for Men's and Women's collections, ensuring all milestones align with GTM Off-Price calendar deadlines for seasonal styles and Chase special programs., • Build, maintain, and distribute the master WIP report for development tracking—ensuring proto garment delivery inputs (patterns, sew-bys, tech packs, graphic artwork sheets, and wash standards) are complete, accurate, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders on time., • Drive daily development activity through proactive communication with the global vendor base, surfacing development issues early, and proposing solutions to keep product on track and production friendly., • Partner with Design on all product development approvals—including trim, artwork, and wash standards—and communicate approvals to vendors promptly to avoid downstream delays., • Lead initial costing and cost-engineering exercises in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring product development stays within established cost parameters., • Own seasonal production validation meetings and weekly vendor calls to review TNA, discuss risks, and drive accountability across the global vendor base., • Monitor garment production timelines, proactively identify risks to on-time factory exits, and escalate issues with recommended resolutions to the direct manager and cross-functional partners., • Utilize advanced Excel functions and PLM/product development systems to manage WIP data accuracy, update internal and external due dates, and support smooth cross-functional workflows., • Review and resolve quality issues in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring open issues are tracked to closure and do not repeat across future seasons. YOU ARE: You bring a strong combination of denim product development expertise and operational discipline—someone equally comfortable deep in a WIP spreadsheet as you are on a call with an overseas factory. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and approach challenges with both rigor and creativity. You have a sharp eye for detail, a healthy obsession with deadlines, and the curiosity to understand the craft behind every fabric, wash, and trim. You thrive in collaborative, cross-functional settings and know how to keep many moving parts—and many seasons—organized and on track simultaneously. REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: • 4-5+ years of experience in fashion/apparel production, sourcing, or product development, with a strong focus on denim, • Demonstrated knowledge of the denim product development lifecycle - from sketch/SMS through production-ready garments- including washes, laundries, trims, and fits, • Proven experience building and managing WIP reports and development tracking tools in a deadline-driven environment, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP for data tracking and WIP management, • Experience communicating and managing relationships with a global vendor base across multiple time zones, • Familiarity with PLM or product development systems; experience with Full Circle a plus, • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop, • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • Experience working on Off-Price or Chase programs in addition to core seasonal development, • Background in denim washes and laundry processes, with the ability to evaluate and approve wash standards, • Familiarity with supply chain and garment production processes, including factory TNA management and risk mitigation, • Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $65,000 – $75,000. This is a full-time, exempt position. This range represents the low and high ends of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. True Religion reasonably expects to pay within this range in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
