Job Description The Marketing Communications Manager at Ann & Nate Levine Academy is a member of the Advancement Team and reports to the Director of Advancement. This individual is responsible for ensuring that marketing and its messaging are in line with the school’s values and goals and that communications go out regularly in an organized and visually appealing way with a concise message in coordination with key administrative team members. The role focuses on growing enrollment and fundraising and promoting a positive culture among faculty, staff and school families through marketing and communications efforts to build community. This coming year, the school is embarking on a 5-year strategic plan recently passed by the Board, implementation of new projects identified by our partnership with a marketing firm and the launch of a capital campaign. This role will be involved in all aspects of the implementation of the strategic plan and publicity of the capital campaign in partnership with the members of the advancement team. Duties and Responsibilities · Ongoing school communications and messaging (internal) * • E-newsletter, • Draft, edit and send emails from program leaders and Head of School, as needed, • Publicity of school events, • Managing and updating school calendar and sports details and scoreboard, • Website management and updates, • Manage and reply to info@ email address, • Emergency text message and email communication for weather, health, etc., • Taking recommendations from our marketing firm and creating a plan to implement them, • Articles and ads in local Jewish paper, • Ads in relevant local papers and online publications, • Updating community calendars with school events and meetings, • Work with Admissions team to create communications for potential, new, and current families, • Signage in and around campus, • Digital marquee sign · Create systems, plans, and brand-aligned templates for the following: * • Creating a communications calendar and expectations for the administration and advancement team and keeping it updated, • Classroom to home communication, • Program handouts, graphics, and publicity, • Create branded presentations across departments (i.e. PowerPoints for parent and board programs), • Collaboration with all departments, • Develop understanding of programs and daily activities in all departments, • Coordinating with media projects specialists on supporting social media needs, • Work together with the advancement team to support goals of increasing enrollment, retention, and fundraising, • Track alumni high schools and colleges and details each year and publicize, • Helping to produce photos and videography for graduation, • Other duties as assigned Education and Training Requirements · 5+ years of experience in a position involving and implementing Marketing and Communications · Bachelor’s degree · Degree in Marketing/Communications preferred Experience Requirements · Marketing and Communications work experience required · Non-profit experience preferred · Experience in the Jewish community preferred Desired skills and qualities · Strong people-skills and ability to work with different personality types · Team player- great at working with and creating workflows with teammates · Flexibility and multi-tasking · Attention to detail (proof-reading, task completion, and checking work) Position Details Full-time, on site position which is year-round. Monday-Friday 8am-4pm All school holidays when the school is closed are days off (some work in the evenings and Sundays may be required, for special events and programs.)
