Job Description As Pangea continues to grow and maintain high service standards, we are seeking a Dishwasher / Busser to support both our kitchen and front-of-house teams. This role is essential to keeping our operation running smoothly, ensuring clean, organized workspaces, and helping deliver a great experience for every guest. The right candidate will play a key part in supporting service flow, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a strong team environment where everyone succeeds together. Dishwasher / Busser – Responsibilities • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, • Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently; hand-wash items as needed, • Keep dish area clean, stocked, and running smoothly during service, • Assist front-of-house by bussing and resetting tables quickly and thoroughly, • Clear used dishes, glassware, and trash from tables and service areas, • Support servers and hosts by maintaining clean dining areas and service stations, • Refill water, assist with table maintenance, and help turn tables efficiently, • Take out trash, recycling, and cardboard according to sanitation standards, • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, floors, and back-of-house areas as assigned, • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, • Step in to support kitchen or FOH teams as needed Dishwasher / Busser – Qualifications • Previous restaurant or service experience preferred, but not required, • Strong work ethic with a team-first mentality, • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, • Attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail, • Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude, • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, • Ability to follow direction and take coaching, • Food handler certification (or ability to obtain one) Company DescriptionPangea is a chef and hospitality driven restaurant built on excellence and genuine connections.
