Job DescriptionWe are looking for a strategically-minded, analytic problem-solving intern to support NESN’s Corporate Development department. This is a great opportunity for a full-time MBA student looking to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment while learning how to think critically to investigate growth opportunities in the sports and media industry. This is a part time internship at about 15-20 hours per week. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Conduct industry and market research., • Run scenario analyses and build financial models to assess opportunities., • Synthesize findings for executive level review., • Create materials to pitch opportunities to third parties., • Ad hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications: • Currently enrolled as a full-time MBA student., • Must have the ability to think strategically (i.e., “big picture”) while also being extremely detail-oriented., • Strong desire to channel curiosity to create actionable insights and opportunities., • Ability to draw parallels from other industries and companies to “connect the dots.”, • Ability to concisely summarize data and research and communicate key findings and recommendations., • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities., • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, but also able to work effectively within a team environment., • Must embrace the NESN Core Values; People, Customer Focus, Adaptability, Teamwork, Diversity, Integrity, Accountability, Passion, Social Responsibility The expected compensation for this position is $15 per hour.
