Job Description Clinical Research Nurse Opportunity in Miami, FL (33155) Job Summary: The Clinical Research Nurse is part of a centralized clinical research team supporting the conduct of clinical trials across multiple studies. Reporting to the Clinical Trials Office Manager, this role collaborates with investigators, coordinators, and cross-functional teams to ensure studies are conducted in compliance with protocols, SOPs, and all applicable regulatory and sponsor requirements. The position also supports study coordination, nursing care delivery, and research operations. Responsibilities/ Job Duties: • Coordinate clinical trial activities to ensure adherence to protocols, SOPs, regulatory standards, and study timelines/budgets., • Support study planning, logistics, and risk identification with mitigation strategies., • Develop and deliver study-specific training and support staff competency and certification compliance., • Provide protocol-driven nursing care and support adverse event monitoring and reporting., • Assist with development and implementation of SOPs, workflows, and research processes., • Support patient recruitment, screening, and protocol compliance for study participants and families., • Collect and manage biological specimens (e.g., blood, tissue) per protocol requirements., • Participate in study meetings, site visits, and monitoring activities; ensure accurate documentation., • Support data collection, reporting, and study progress updates., • Serve as liaison between study teams and sponsors, supporting communication and monitoring visits., • Ensure compliance with FDA, NIH, and other applicable regulatory requirements, including reporting deviations and adverse events., • BSN required, • Active RN license (state or compact) in good standing, • BLS certification required, • ACLS (within 2 months of hire) and PALS (within 6 months of hire), • 2-4 years clinical or research experience preferrably, • 1-3 years Phase I clinical research experience preferrably, • ARNP or advanced practice nursing experience, • Clinical research certification (CCRC, CCRP, or CRA), • Pediatric acute care experience, • Experience in neurology, neurosurgery, or oncology, • Familiarity with REDCap and clinical trial management systems, • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Schedule/ Shift: • Location: Miami, FL (33155), • Employment: ~6 month (1,040 Hours) contracted probationary period into direct hire / permanent position, • Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances), • Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
