Learn more at You'll Do: CoreWeave is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) to design, build, and operate the Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms that power our internal IT and physical security systems. This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, enterprise IT, and data center security. About the Role: You will be a senior technical owner of our internal cloud foundations, responsible for secure, scalable landing zones, hybrid connectivity to data centers, and the infrastructure that supports identity, collaboration, IT operations, and physical security platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role with architectural ownership. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, drive automation through Infrastructure as Code, and help define how CoreWeave scales its internal cloud footprint without compromising security or reliability. • Design, implement, and operate secure, well-governed Azure and GCP landing zones, including networking, IAM, policies, and guardrails., • Partner with Security and Networking teams to implement zero-trust and defense-in-depth architectures across internal cloud services. You will own the cloud and hybrid infrastructure that supports CoreWeave's internal IT platforms and physical security systems. This role focuses on infrastructure design, security, reliability, and scalability. • Cloud and hybrid infrastructure supporting physical security and surveillance platforms, including:, • Video management systems (VMS) and network video recorders (NVRs), • Access control systems (badging, doors, turnstiles), • Environmental and safety sensors (temperature, leak detection, etc.), • Scalable ingestion, storage, and archival for high-volume video and sensor telemetry workloads, • Secure connectivity between on-prem data centers and cloud environments (VPNs, private connectivity, firewalling, segmentation), • Cloud infrastructure supporting internal IT and business systems, including:, • Core enterprise platforms hosted in Multi-tenant Azure/GCP/AWS, • Own the day-to-day reliability of internal cloud environments, including performance, capacity, cost, and security posture., • Design and operate monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Monitoring, SIEM integrations)., • Define and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for critical internal systems and security platforms., • Build automation and self-service patterns for common workflows (standardized workload onboarding, IAM roles, network patterns)., • 7-10+ years of experience as a Systems, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer operating production environments., • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:, • Designing and operating multi-tenant (Azure) and multi-project (GCP) environments with centralized governance, policy enforcement, and cost controls, • VNETs/VPCs, subnets, peering, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers, • IAM/RBAC, managed identities/service accounts, and secrets management (Key Vault / Cloud KMS), Observability using AWS Elastic., • Storage services for high-volume data (object storage, disks, archival tiers), • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), including modules, pipelines, and policy as code., • Solid understanding of network security and segmentation in hybrid cloud and data center environments., • Experience operating Linux-based workloads in the cloud (deployment, patching, configuration, hardening)., • You love building repeatable systems and processes from scratch., • You're curious about how identity, security, and SaaS ecosystems scale during rapid growth. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
