Description Database Administrator - EPIC Cache/Iris Location: UCHealth UCHlth Admin 2450 Peoria Department: UCHlth Database Administration FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $37.04 - $55.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This is a full-time, exempt/salary position on UCHealth's Database Administration team to support Caché/Iris database. Candidates must reside in an approved state to be eligible for consideration. This position requires an experienced administrator to maintain various EPIC database environments for a growing company that serves 25,000+ users. Key Factors: • Strong technical problem solver who can resolve issues within EPIC(Caché/Iris) database, • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, shell scripts, • Ability to balance work across a diverse set of customers, projects, goals and priorities Responsibilities: • Subject Matter Expert for Caché/Iris, • Install, Configure and Maintain database environments, • Set up and configure Epic monitoring tools (Redalert, System Pulse), manage alerts and logs, set up, configure and manage administrative tools, • Monitoring of service health, management of service requests, change management, • Proactively find issues within the environment and help put processes in place to prevent problems., • Perform routine upgrades and updates, • Test, perform and maintain business continuity procedures (Disaster recovery, backup restores), • Configure and perform environment refreshes, • Evaluate performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues, • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: • High School diploma or GED., • Minimum of 1 year experience successfully managing Caché/Iris, • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, shell scripts, • Bachelor's degree, • EPIC (Cache/IRIS) certification, • Experience working with multiple project teams (business, IT application and infrastructure teams), • Experience identifying and prioritizing issues; troubleshooting complex issues UCHealth invests in its Workforce.
