Job Details Key Responsibilities: Manage a broad spectrum of immigration cases, including: Non-immigrant visas (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2), Employment-based and family-based permanent residency (PERM, I-140, I-485), Humanitarian relief (asylum, waivers, detention defense), Consular processing and naturalization Handle client counseling, documentation preparation, and submission to USCIS, U.S. Department of State, and Immigration Courts Conduct legal research and draft motions, appeals, and policy arguments for complex cases Collaborate cross-functionally with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to maintain service excellence Stay current on changing immigration law and policy; participate in continuing education and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions and client webinars Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New York preferred; co-counsel opportunities elsewhere) 2+ years of experience in immigration law, with exposure to both individual and corporate immigration matters Strong legal writing and analytical skills; capable of preparing persuasive filings under tight deadlines Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities Capable of managing a diverse caseload independently while collaborating as part of a mid-size team Interested in hearing more?
