Job Description About the Role: The Member Services Representative plays a crucial role in fostering positive relationships between the organization and its members by providing exceptional customer service and support. This position is responsible for addressing member inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout all interactions. The representative will serve as the primary point of contact, guiding members through various processes and offering information about products, services, and policies. Success in this role directly contributes to member satisfaction, retention, and the overall reputation of the organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and skilled at managing multiple tasks to meet member needs effectively. Primary Functions: • Accurately process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments., • Provide a warm welcome and offer financial support to educate our members., • Post transactions to members’ accounts., • Open, perform maintenance, and close accounts., • High School Diploma or GED, • Preferred previous banking experience (credit union or bank)., • Ability to assist members with resolutions promptly and accurately., • Excellent attention to detail and time management, • Proficient computer/technical skills., • Strong customer relationship building skills., • High Integrity and a strong work ethic is required., • Lobby/Professional office environment with moderate sound., • Flexibility to work: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., rotating Friday until 6:15 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. - noon., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from time to time., • Must have transportation in order travel to other branches, off-site training, or meetings as needed., • Assist members in person and by telephone., • Medical/RX, • Vision Insurance, • Dental Insurance, • Health Reimbursement Account, • Flexible Spending Account, • Life and Disability Insurance, • Vacation Days, • Sick/Personal time, • Paid Holidays, • Referral Bonus and Incentive Bonus Program, • 401(k) with Company Match, • Employee Discounts, • Profit Sharing, • Credit Union Membership, • Employee Assistance Program, • Paid Training If you have any questions, or require assistance or reasonable accommodation, please contact or call (973) 576-2014.
