Job Description As the manager of Multi and Single-Family Sales at Gas South, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and revenue in the multi-family and single-family markets. You will lead, coach, and develop a dynamic team of sales executives and coordinators. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to increase customer acquisition, retention, and property penetration rates. You will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing sales processes and controls and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. Are you a fit? Additional Responsibilities • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales and channel representatives, fostering development and accountability. Set clear sales targets and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations. Develop training programs and sales methodologies to continuously improve the team's effectiveness., • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive multi and Single-family sales strategy aligned with Gas South's overall goals. Apply strong critical thinking to prioritize opportunities, refine targeting, and create tactical action plans. Guide the team in executing strategies with discipline and consistency., • Deal expertise & selling acumen: Understand deal dynamics, key profitability drivers, & our contracts. Help sales executives to position Gas South competitively using differentiated solutions rather than price alone., • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, associations, property management companies, property owners, and key broker and consultant partners, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery., • Business Development: Identify and target potential opportunities and industry relationships to expand Gas South's market presence., • Sales Performance and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management. Ensure accurate forecasting and revenue projections., • Talent identification and Acquisition: Ability to identify and assess external and internal skills and talent, selecting the best people to build sales team strength, and development of overall workforce capacity., • 3+ years sales management experience preferred, preferably within a related industry., • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales teams., • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that have met or exceeded defined goals and objectives., • Experience in talent identification, acquisition, and retention, with a track record of building high performing sales teams., • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field., • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment., • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Atlanta, GA. Relocation to Atlanta is required for candidates from other markets Physical Requirements Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation while performing computer-based tasks, conducting meetings, and collaborating with colleagues. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and copiers. Keyboarding: Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard and mouse, requiring finger dexterity and hand coordination. Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk within the office environment, such as when attending meetings, interacting with colleagues, or visiting different departments. Ability to stand during receptions. Driving: Ability to drive to the office 2-3 days per week and to offsite meetings, events, and conferences as needed. Travel to other out-of-state offices (GA or FL) 1-4 times per year. Requires visual and auditory acuity for effective communication, document review, performance management, and use of office technology. Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry material, files, or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, such as when organizing documents or setting up for meetings. Ability to reach for items stored in cabinets or shelves, both above and below shoulder height. Some evening and weekend work required for external events. Ability to work in typical office conditions, which may include exposure to noise, artificial lighting, and climate-controlled environments.
