About the Role We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking AVP, Intelligent Automation & Process Enablement professional to join our Strategic Change Delivery team, with a primary focus on intelligent automation and AI-enabled process delivery. In this role, you will serve as the team’s first-line expert in designing, testing, and embedding AI-assisted workflows across Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Risk. You will work closely with the Head of Strategic Change Delivery, Finance Technology leadership, and the Automation Centre of Excellence (COE) to transition early-stage automation concepts into robust, well-governed solutions. Responsibilities • Intelligent Automation & AI-Enabled Workflow Design, • Lead the design and documentation of AI-assisted workflows, incorporating tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and other LLM-based platforms., • Develop, test, and iterate on prompts and agent logic to support process automation, ensuring outputs meet quality and accuracy standards., • Create and maintain comprehensive automation documentation, including workflow logic, approval paths, and guardrail frameworks., • Act as the first line of validation for AI-generated output before handing off to the Accounting & Controls BA or stakeholders., • Process Mapping & Re-Engineering, • Lead end-to-end process mapping initiatives across the Finance, Tax, Treasury and Risk, applying an automation-first mindset to identify opportunities for efficiency and redesign., • Translate complex processes into clear functional requirements, user stories, and workflow specifications suitable for both technology teams and business stakeholders., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement redesigned processes aligned with organizational goals and transformation objectives., • Technology Partnership & Prototype Transition, • Partner with Technology and COE to transition automation prototypes into governed, production-ready solutions., • Provide hands-on support in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting automation tools and AI-assisted applications., • Serve as the point of contact for Technology, COE, and cross-function stakeholders., • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication, • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with various departments and the Head of Strategic Change Delivery., • Communicate effectively at all levels, translating technical automation concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of automation initiatives with broader transformation goals., • Proven ability to thrive in fast-moving environments while co-developing new workflows in areas with limited established precedent., • Work in close partnership with the Accounting & Controls BA to ensure AI-enabled and automated workflows are designed with appropriate accounting treatment, control frameworks, auditability, and financial integrity embedded from the outset., • Training & Documentation, • Develop and maintain clear documentation of AI workflows, automation logic, and guardrail frameworks to support governance and audit requirements., • Assist in the design and delivery of training materials to support Finance, Tax, Treasury and Risk in adopting AI-assisted tools and processes. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field., • Minimum of five to seven years of related experience with demonstrable exposure to automation or AI-enabled process improvement., • Hands-on experience using LLM-based tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT or similar) in a professional or project context., • Proficiency in process mapping, requirements gathering, and user story development., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to validate AI outputs critically., • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences., • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build trusted partnerships across multiple functions., • Hybrid role (NYC-based) with four days per week in the office. Preferred Skills • Experience working within a finance automation or transformation environment, supporting the design, testing, and deployment of automated and AI‑enabled workflows., • Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and automation tools such as Claude, Alteryx, and UiPath., • Experience contributing to agent design, prompt development, and/or the application of AI governance and control frameworks within a regulated Finance context. Pay range and compensation package Base salary: Starting at 125,000, plus bonus. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
