When you join Towne Kids, you're not just taking a case; you're becoming a part of a mission-driven team committed to: • Delivering exceptional, individualized pediatric care, • Supporting families with empathy and respect, • Creating consistency and stability for medially complex children Responsibilities • Deliver direct nursing care by monitoring patient conditions, recording vital signs, administering medications and treatments, carrying out physician orders, completing care interventions, and following established safety protocols and preventive measures., • Assess and document the child’s physical and emotional health status and report any changes to the nurse case manager or physician., • Collaborate with families and care teams on disease processes, medications, and care techniques as appropriate through the Case Manager., • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and state regulations., • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for the child., • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions., • Comply with agency policies, applicable laws, and nursing standards of practice, • Participate in mandatory orientation, competency validation, and training sessions, • Maintain infection control protocols and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety. Full-time | Variable hours | Benefit Eligible including PTO Hourly Salary Range: $45.00 - $55.00 depending on credentials and experience Requirements: • Current and active RN or LPN license issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing., • Up to date BLS / CPR certification., • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation., • Have the ability to use assessment and critical thinking skills., • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)., • Perform occasional lifting and carrying of pediatric patients (up to 35 lbs.), • Note: Emergency lifting and carrying may be required; routine lifting is not a primary duty and should adhere to safe practice guidelines., • Occasional to moderate walking, standing, and sitting., • Occasional bending, stooping, and gripping to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)., • Daily driving, with distance varying according to assignment and needs., • Monitoring and use of medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators, portable oxygen, and CPAP machines., • Patient care is provided in private residences and any locations based on their medical needs, which may include but not limited to home, school, or doctor’s office., • Exposure to infectious agents, household allergens, or emotionally challenging environments may occur., • Variable scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required based on patient needs.
