Small motors, compressors, oxygen concentrators and refrigerated dryers are among our products. Training is provided but the basic skill set is mandatory. Position Responsibilities: The Mechanical Technician is responsible for assembling and servicing various small machinery such as compressors & oxygen concentrators including assembling gas manifolds and other pneumatic plumbing assemblies as trained and directed. * Ensures accuracy of information in the system and compliance with internal controls.* Confirms adequate inventory for the production schedule.* Capable of providing technical support on the equipment systems that have been mastered. Qualifications& Knowledge * High school diploma * Minimum one year of experience as a mechanic or technician * Basic computer skills and applications such as MS Excel, MS Word or Corel WordPerfect, e-mail app such as G-mail or Outlook. *Ability to follow written instructions and directions * Ability to use basic math and numbers, and to use a computer terminal, calculator, and telephone. * Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail * Ability to work under immediate supervision *Ability to pass a drug test * Ability to work hours mandated by management. *Ability to identify mechanical parts and fittings (including plumbing fittings) products based on Material, size, class, grade, type, etc. after basic training. * Ability to verbalize and/or document areas of deficiency with regard to manufacturing, inventory control, record keeping policies and procedures * Ability to collect all data relative to a problematic situation and determine specifically what needs to be done to correct it. * Has a Driver’s License and Car for personal transport Conduct: Highly motivated, positive and enthusiastic * Clean and Neat in appearance * Good interpersonal skills, and good listener and communicator * Process oriented * Eagerness to learn * Be a team player and always support the Company's goals * Being punctual and reliable is a must. * No smoking
