Job DescriptionCNC Programmer $85,000 - $110,000 | Indianapolis, In Job Description • Read and interpret blueprints to obtain product specifications and tooling instructions, including dimensions, tolerances, fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and tools required., • Write programs for CNC machinery and occasionally operate the machines to ensure optimal performance., • Assist the manufacturing estimator by providing insights and answers regarding estimates and quotes for new work., • Purchase and prepare the necessary tooling and equipment for each job released to manufacturing., • Proficiency in programming with Mastercam or NX is essential., • Minimum of 4 years prior experience in a CNC Lathe programming position., • Familiarity with specialty materials and complex set-ups with tolerances down to .0005 inches., • Strong understanding of G & M codes and machining processes., • Experience with the capabilities and limitations of all CNC Lathe machines., • Ability to interpret engineering and tool drawings accurately., • Join a fully air-conditioned, clean, and state-of-the-art machine shop equipped with new machinery., • Benefit from extremely advantageous health benefits where over 70% of employees pay nothing for medical coverage., • Enjoy company-paid Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, and AD&D Insurance., • Take advantage of an incentive bonus plan, annual raises, and flexible working shifts., • Be part of a family-oriented culture with an involved management team. The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
