As a Per Diem Operating Room RN, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. We are seeking a Per Diem Operating Room RN to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington, located in Seattle, WA. This is a per diem on-site position offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a patient’s life-changing journey. Key Responsibilities • Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessment, give discharge instructions, and start IV., • Recover patients after general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care. Reinforce discharge instructions., • Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite., • Accurately document patient care and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR)., • Clearly communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families., • Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality., • Adhere to and enforce aseptic techniques, quality control measures, and safety standards., • Initiate emergency protocols as needed and coordinate equipment repairs., • Mentor new staff and provide updates on any protocol changes., • Support organizational policies and contribute to process improvements., • Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess equipment and supply needs., • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the surgical team., • Education & Licensure:, • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing)., • Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing., • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required., • Experience:, • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, surgical experience a plus., • Skills:, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
