We are seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician with strong experience treating individuals (adults & teens), couples, and families, including those affected by eating disorders. About Us Healing Balance Therapy Inc. provides comprehensive mental health services, offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Our specialties include trauma, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, codependency, and relational issues. We are committed to culturally competent care and empowering clients to develop self-compassion, healthy boundaries, and effective communication skills. Our team is small and collaborative, currently consisting of three clinicians, all of whom are actively committed to their own personal growth and development. Qualifications • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field, • Current licensure in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist). No Associates please, • Must have experience and a high to moderate skill level in working with trauma and eating disorders, • Must be willing to enroll and pay for EMDR training upon hire, • Strong clinical experience with individuals (adults & teens), couples, and families, • Training and experience in evidence-based treatments for trauma and eating disorders, • Experience working with diverse populations, including teens, adults, couples, and families, • Has or is currently engaged in their own individual therapy for personal growth and development, • Strong work ethic with timeliness and kind, considerate communication with staff and clients, • Excellent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, • EMDR trained or certified, • Trained or certified in treating eating disorders, • Trained or certified in EFT for couples, • Trained or certified in evidence-based family therapy, • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, • Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals (adults & teens), couples, and families, • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure high-quality client care, • Hybrid position: one day per week virtual from home, remainder in-office, • Schedule: combination of morning, mid-day, and evening hours, • Small, supportive, and collaborative team of three clinicians, • Begin with a gradual caseload, growing from 0 to 20 clients over the first three months, • Competitive salary, • Flexible scheduling, • Supportive and collaborative work environment
