The CNC Production Supervisor oversees daily operations within the CNC machining department, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and production standards. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to drive productivity and continuous improvement. \n \nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \n\n • Schedule jobs and allocate resources to meet production deadlines\n, • Assist machinists in setting up and operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other equipment\n, • Prepare raw materials and components for machining (e.g., measuring, cutting, labeling)\n, • Monitor machine operations and report irregularities or malfunctions\n, • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools\n, • Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges\n, • Maintain organized workspaces and ensure compliance with safety protocols\n, • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards\n, • Support inventory tracking and replenishment of tools and materials\n, • Lead production teams to meet daily output targets\n, • Train and mentor team members on CNC operations and best practices\n, • Maintain accurate production records and shift reports\n, • Recommend process improvements and equipment upgrades\n, • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred\n, • 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role\n, • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines (e.g., Mazak, Haas, Okuma)\n, • Understanding of blueprints and technical drawings\n, • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity\n, • Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking software\n, • Ability to work from CAD/CAM files or collaborate with programmers\n, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n, • Knowledge of and experience with ASME Y14.5 and GD&T\n, • Excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills \n, • Proficient in Windows Operating System software, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.\n, • Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks\n, • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems\n, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk for long periods of time, stoop, squat, climb, and work extended hours and weekends if required\n \nSalary range: \n $50,000 - $70,000 per year; negotiable \n Travel Percentage Required: 0 – 10% \n Relocation Assistance Provided: Not Provided \n US Citizenship Required?
