Job Description The Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Technology, is seeking a qualified candidate for the temporary contractor staffing position of System / Quality Assurance tester for Shines in Atlanta, Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in related field AND Five (5) years of experience in Information Technology testing, quality assurance and the performance of change management functions, three (3) years of which must have been attained in a cross-platform Information Technology development environment. Job Duties: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports Design detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive coverage Perform manual and automated tests, using various tools and techniques to verify software functionality Identify, document, and report software defects, including severity, priority, and steps to reproduce Analyze test results to assess quality, identify areas for improvement, and determine if the software meets requirements Communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to development teams and other stakeholders, and collaborate on defect resolution Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) years of experience with QA testing and script writing. Job Description Under direct supervision, maintains and troubleshoots computers, servers, peripherals, and/or applications. Implements consistent procedures and standards for general system maintenance in consultation with the Information Systems staff. Under broad supervision, the QA Tester/Analyst will drive the overall QA planning/tracking and reporting for project(s), as well as execution of test lifecycle deliverables per standard methodology and procedures to ensure successful Test Strategy/plan implementation for the Georgia Dept. of Transportation (). While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions. Job Description The Department of Human Services, Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a qualified candidate for the Sr. Quality Analyst/Accessibility tester position to join the agency based in Atlanta, Duties and Responsibilities: As a Web Accessibility Specialist, you will lead all testing and audit activities using manual and automated accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies. Conduct accessibility testing using a combination of automated tools and manual testing (including testing with assistive technologies) to evaluate the level of conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other applicable standards and regulatory requirements. Create, document, and manage test plans, test cases, and scripts across multiple projects based on software requirements and design documents. Conduct functional, end-to-end, and regression testing of applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and quality. Create and maintain test scripts, standards, guidelines, and playbooks for accessibility testing and development best practices. Document and report defects, issues, and areas of improvement as well as manage and prioritize critical ADA defects. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Clients to understand requirements and provide feedback. Act as a subject matter expert for testing web and mobile applications for accessibility. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields. 7+ years of experience as a Quality Analyst with demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance methodology and practices. Hands-on experience with automated test tools and test management tools like Jira or GitLab. In-depth, working knowledge of ADA tools and standards for accessibility testing (i.e., WAVE, JAWS, axe, ANDI, and other automated tools or applications). 5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies to ensure digital products adhere to enterprise conformance levels (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 level AA) within agile projects. Ability to provide solutions for testers and development teams by applying best practices. Ability to provide direction and lead QA testers. Ability to effectively utilize assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, TalkBack, and other manual and automated testing tools across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems. Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification. Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
