Job Description Summary: The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for testing and releasing all incoming materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Duties and Responsibilities: · Perform appropriate identification of raw materials using FT/IR. · Performs purity analysis on both raw materials and finished products via appropriate methods (pH, Moisture, DT, etc.) · Prepares raw materials and packaging components for testing. · Notifies QC management when OOS test results occur. · Ensures timely release of raw materials and finished products. · Assists in the activities for qualifying/validating laboratory equipment. · Prepares technical documentation, including test reports, analytical test procedures, stability reports, and change controls. · Reviews consumer-facing labels label for compliance against MLC · Assists in laboratory equipment qualifications, calibrations, and preventative maintenance programs. · Authors SOPs, methods, stability protocols, and /or related QC procedures · Assists in OOS investigations and implementation of corrective actions. · Maintains complete and accurate records and logbooks. · Establish and control inventory of necessary standards/reagents. · Plans, schedules, coordinates, and documents the storage, pulling, and testing of stability samples · Performs other duties as assigned by QA/QC Management Work Experience/Qualifications: · Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience in nutraceutical/pharmaceutical/cosmeceutical · Working knowledge of applicable safety and standard guidelines such as SOP, cGMP, GLP, and MSDS · Hands-on experience using analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis, AA, FT-IR, GC, dissolution tester, disintegration tester, melting point apparatus, pH meter, and analytical balance · Experience in OOS investigations and CAPA · Knowledge of ICH stability guidelines · Good interpersonal skills · Ability to work independently and in a team environment. · Ability to follow instructions · Good attendance and punctuality · Ability to work well under pressure · Ability to read, write, and speak English · Ability to perform basic math · Flexibility to changing priorities, work schedule, and the needs of the business · General proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook · Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Education Requirements: · Minimum science degree Work Environment: · The work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee encounters while performing this job's essential functions. Ready for a new challenge? Summary of Position The Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for testing all features, functionality, and localization of the assigned games. This includes performing scripted and ad hoc test cases, documenting any game errors that exist in the code, analyzing and reviewing discrepancies, and verifying fixes are implemented. We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model. Job Responsibilities • Perform focused creative testing based on assigned test cases to provide feedback on game play related issues and identify game defects, • Report game defects, including complete steps, identification of root cause, and expected results into appropriate bug tracking software, • Regress previously identified issues in order to verify defects have been addressed and are no longer occurring, • 2+ years of game testing experience preferred, • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, • Experience playing MapleStory, pre-Big Bang preferred, • Strong interpersonal skills, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Good time management, organizational and analytical skills, • Detail oriented, • Good mix of analytical and creative problem solving skills, • Familiarity with bug tracking tools and processes, • Demonstrate ability to take direction from managers and provide feedback to the team, • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Drive), • Experience in TestRail preferred, • Experience or knowledge of free-to-play games a plus, • Experience or knowledge of FPS, MMO, or RPG games a plus, • Experience or knowledge of game console testing a plus Nexon’s Benefits and Perks We offer medical, dental and vision plans for you, your spouse or domestic partner and your children. Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly) The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $22.00 - $27.00 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
