Assist the Lead Tech in any issues that may come up in the repair., • Maintain the highest level of customer service - Work with the Billing Specialist to make sure the PO System is followed and communicated between T&J Staff and the customer., • Manage Work in Process (WIP) - Work with the Billing Specialist to make sure the Work in Process (WIP) is monitored and work orders are closed out in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to foster a cooperative and productive work environment through effective supervision of employees including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work and training assignments. Must possess excellent customer service skills and employee relations skills as demonstrated through superior oral and written communication efforts. Excellent diagnostic and repair skills. Ability to understand directions and follow standard operating procedures. Ability to be on call before/after normal work hours and occasional overnight travel. Qualification Standards: High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years service department experience is required. An Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training in a related field and prior supervisory or managerial experience is preferred. Job Description SERVICE TECHNICIAN Our Culligan dealership is looking for technicians to service our existing residential customers. Our service department is essential to support our customers after the sale as well as a valuable sales tool when selling new business. As a Service Technician you will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install water softeners, reverse osmosis machines, filtration equipment and other water treatment equipment systems. PLUMBING experience is a plus but not required. You will be physically moving all day. Expected to be able to sit, stand, lift, and maneuver within commercial buildings, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants and production areas. You will use problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues that arise throughout your day. Previous water treatment experience is preferred.
