This role ensures timely pick-ups and drop-offs, maintains program vehicles, builds positive relationships with youth, and supports equitable access to educational, recreational, and social-service opportunities. Primary Job Functions • Safely operate organization to transport youth to and from programs, schools, events, and appointments., • Follow all traffic laws, organizational policies, and transportation safety guidelines., • Ensure proper supervision, safe boarding/exiting procedures, and youth accountability during transport., • Build positive, respectful relationships with youth riders., • Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive communication and de-escalation when needed., • Support youth in understanding and following transportation rules., • Report any concerns regarding youth safety, behavior, or wellbeing to the Program Manager., • Collaborate with program staff to plan routes, schedules, and transportation needs.
