About the Role OWL Services is seeking a seasoned Product Management leader to define, build, and scale our security and point-of-sale (POS) technology offerings across the retail and convenience store industries. This role is pivotal in shaping our product strategy, driving innovation, and delivering integrated solutions that support our customers’ evolving needs. As VP of Product Management, you will guide cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle—from strategy and vision, to development, launch, and national deployment—while ensuring profitability, scalability, and long-term customer success. The role will be remote with an ability to travel nationwide ~65% of the time. Key Responsibilities • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for security and POS offerings across retail and convenience store verticals., • Lead cross-functional teams in product development, go-to-market launches, and lifecycle management., • Analyze market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to shape product priorities and features., • Partner with Sales and Marketing to craft positioning, messaging, and customer adoption strategies., • Drive continuous innovation, including IoT integration, AI-driven analytics, cloud platforms, and evolving security standards., • Manage vendor and technology partner relationships to enhance offerings and ensure best-in-class integrations., • Oversee product P&L, ensuring profitability, scalability, and measurable business outcomes., • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, strategy, or executive leadership roles within security, POS, or retail technology., • Proven success in developing and scaling technology products for multi-site retail or convenience store chains., • Strong knowledge of integrated security systems, POS platforms, and emerging retail technologies (AI, mobile payments, data analytics, loss prevention, etc.)., • Experience managing national rollouts and coordinating across operations, sales, and service teams., • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels., • Strategic Visioning & Road mapping – ability to define long-term product direction and execute effectively., • Technical Expertise – understanding of retail technology stacks, integrated security solutions, POS hardware/software, and SaaS/cloud ecosystems., • Business Acumen – strong financial skills with experience managing product P&L, pricing models, and ROI analysis., • Innovation Mindset – ability to identify and implement IoT, AI, and cloud innovations into practical customer solutions., • Cross-Functional Leadership – proven success leading product, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams., • Customer-Centric Approach – experience gathering VOC (voice of customer), translating insights into features and market opportunities., • Go-to-Market Execution – expertise in product positioning, market entry, and adoption strategies., • Partnership & Vendor Management – skilled at negotiating, aligning, and integrating third-party technology partnerships., • Communication & Influence – strong presentation, storytelling, and executive stakeholder engagement skills., • 10 Paid Holidays, • Flexible Time Off, • 401(k) Company Match, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • HSA and FSA, • Disability & Occupational Accident Insurance, • Company-Paid Life Insurance Policy, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • World-class paid training program for you to learn the skills for long term career success.
