Job DescriptionActalent is Hiring a Team of Scientists // Second Shift! Job Description We are seeking dedicated Chemists to perform routine tests on various samples, including finished products, stability samples, raw materials, and more using techniques such as UV and HPLC in a regulated laboratory environment. The role involves evaluating test results, maintaining accurate lab documentation, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMP standards. Responsibilities • Conduct routine tests of finished products, stability samples, raw materials, and CV samples using techniques such as assays, chromatographic purity, and particle size distribution., • Evaluate test results and determine the acceptability of samples based on the results., • Maintain accurate lab notebooks and complete all related analytical reports and documentation in compliance with SOPs., • Ensure laboratories are maintained with good housekeeping practices and in compliance with cGMP standards., • Review notebooks promptly and ensure compliance with SOPs., • Analyze and interpret results in both written and oral formats., • Assist in training new analysts., • Conduct laboratory investigations and initiate Quality Events, CAPA, and Change Controls as needed., • Proficiency in HPLC, UPLC, and UV-Vis techniques., • Strong analytical Experience in chemistry., • Familiarity with FDA and GMP regulations., • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field with 1-2 years of related experience in pharmaceutical analysis, or a Master’s degree with 1 year of experience., • Problem-solving skills involving several concrete variables in standardized situations., • Ability to perform necessary computations and interpret graphs. This position is based in a lab environment regulated by FDA and GMP standards. Second shift is M-F 2pm-11pm // training will take place on first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $39.00/hr.
