If youre nodding along, keep reading Orangetheory Fitness is looking for a hands-on, people-first Studio Manager to lead our studio. This role is equal parts leader, coach, problem-solver, and culture-setter. Youll oversee daily operations, manage and develop a high-performing team, drive sales and retention, and ensure the studio runs smoothly from open to close. What Youll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities) Studio Operations • Oversee daily studio operations to ensure classes, staffing, and member experience run seamlessly, • Manage schedules for front desk staff and coordinate with coaches to ensure full class coverage, • Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and brand standards, • Troubleshoot day-of issues (technology, staffing, member concerns, vendor needs) and resolve them quickly Team Leadership & Development • Hire, onboard, train, and coach front desk staff and assistant managers, • Lead by example on the floor greeting members, supporting staff, and setting the tone, • Hold the team accountable to performance expectations, sales goals, and service standards, • Conduct regular check-ins, feedback conversations, and performance reviews, • Foster a positive, energetic, and collaborative studio culture Sales & Member Experience • Drive membership sales, upgrades, and retail performance, • Coach the team on effective sales conversations and follow-up processes, • Monitor KPIs including new joins, retention, and utilization, • Ensure every member feels seen, known, and celebrated (milestones, birthdays, PRs, etc.), • Handle escalated member concerns with empathy and solutions-focused communication Business & Administrative Oversight • Track and report on studio performance, goals, and action plans, • Manage payroll, timekeeping, and operational reporting, • Partner with ownership and regional leadership on business strategy and execution, • Execute marketing initiatives, events, and promotions to drive engagement Who You Are • A strong, confident leader who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on, • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities, • Approachable, professional, and excellent at building relationships, • Results-driven and accountable you set goals and follow through, • Passionate about fitness, wellness, and helping others succeed, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Enthusiastic, energetic, and personable demeanor, • Strong sales acumen and customer service mindset, • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team, • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends What We Offer • Comprehensive paid training and ongoing support, • Competitive base pay plus commission and performance bonuses, • Free Orangetheory Fitness membership, • Product discounts, • Fitness-casual dress code, • A passionate, collaborative work environment, • Opportunity to learn all aspects of the business with potential growth into franchise ownership or higher leadership roles About Orangetheory Fitness Orangetheory is a 1-hour, full-body, heart rate-based interval training workout designed to deliver results in a supportive group environment.
