Job Description Base Pay + Aggressive Commissions | High-Performance Culture | Remote-Capable The Paul Munly Agency, a highly rated insurance & financial services agency in Chico, CA, is seeking a driven Insurance Producer to join our sales team. Were looking for motivated professionals who are serious about building a long-term career in insurance not just a job. This position includes a base hourly wage plus a high-agency-share commission structure (75-100% of new business commissions), bonus opportunities, and a robust suite of benefits. Producers have access to a wide range of personal insurance, commercial insurance, life insurance, and financial products, allowing for deep earning potential and long-term career growth. You will receive agency-generated leads, but the ideal candidate is also proactive and comfortable generating their own opportunities. This role blends inside sales, outside networking, and relationship-building to grow a book of business with long-term earning potential. Benefits Hourly Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Flexible Schedule Hands on Training Career Growth Opportunities Retirement Plan Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Engage with inbound leads, referrals, and agency-generated prospects, • Proactively source additional new business through networking, outbound calls, and community engagement, • Advise clients on insurance coverage options, • Present, quote, and bind new policies while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and follow-up process, • Meet or exceed monthly production minimums in both premium and activity metrics, • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships, • Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and performance coaching Required Qualifications: • Must have at least one of the following to be hired:, • CA Property & Casualty License, • CA Life & Health License, • OR the ability to obtain at least one insurance license prior to starting, • Must reside locally in or be willing to commute to Chico, California, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • High sales aptitude with a demonstrated drive to exceed production minimums and hit goals, • Professional, coachable, dependable, and motivated by performance-based compensation, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance culture, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred (Not Required) • Prior insurance or sales experience, • Experience with AgencyZoom, • Proven track record in sales, customer service, and/or business development
