The Powell Agency is seeking a driven and empathetic Licensed Insurance Advisor / Sales Representative who's passionate about educating clients and delivering tailored protection strategies. This is not a quote and hope sales role. You'll work with warm in-bound leads and referrals, walk prospects through personalized coverage options, and help them make confident decisions while earning well above industry average. Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Mon-Fri Schedule Hands on Training Career Growth Opportunities Responsibilities • Respond to inbound leads from marketing campaigns, referral partners, and cross-sell opportunities, • Guide clients through a structured needs analysis using our consultative proposal process, • Quote and present customized insurance solutions across multiple carriers, • Communicate value, not just priceexplaining coverage details, tradeoffs, and claims-time performance, • Utilize AgencyZoom CRM, Canopy Connect, and Loom for streamlined quoting and follow-up, • Collaborate with our service team and AI assistant Gail for a seamless client journey Required: • Active Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License, • 1+ year of experience in personal lines or commercial insurance sales, • Strong phone, email, and consultative presentation skills, • CRM fluency (AgencyZoom, Salesforce, or similar), • Life & Health license or willingness to obtain, • Familiarity with BCSM and FATE-based sales models, • Experience with Loom, Canopy Connect, and quote-by-video presentations, • Multi-line experience (auto, home, umbrella, life, business)
