Job Description Offsite Producer / Editor Position Summary The Offsite Producer / Editor is a client-embedded project leader responsible for owning corporate video projects from initial request through final delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact between AMS and Offsite partners and is accountable for both production management and creative execution. This position manages scope, budgeting, scheduling, creative alignment, and post-production coordination while also contributing directly to filming, editing, and technical execution. This position is based full-time at a client site. Client Leadership and Producing • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and act as Producer on assigned projects., • Lead initial discussions to define goals, audience, messaging, creative direction, scope, and deliverables., • Manage cross-team communication between AMS, client stakeholders, creative teams, editors, and vendors., • Collaborate closely with the Team Production Manager on all client communications, ensuring alignment and keeping leadership informed and engaged throughout the full project lifecycle., • Run pre-production meetings and align stakeholders on expectations, schedule, approvals, responsibilities, and deliverables., • Clarify scope, manage shifting priorities, and make informed decisions when timelines are compressed.Project Planning and Execution, • Own the end-to-end coordination of multiple concurrent projects., • Translate client needs into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables., • Track progress, risks, and dependencies; escalate issues early and propose solutions., • Ensure project scope is outlined, documented, and fulfilled to plan., • Make informed decisions on project costs that align with the client's needs, department expectations and AMS core values., • Ensure final deliverables meet creative, technical, and timeline expectations.Production and Post-Production Responsibilities, • Lead pre-production planning including scheduling, studio logistics, equipment coordination, and resource allocation., • Work with the Production Coordinator to ensure all crew positions are filled and properly scheduled., • Coordinate logistics for production days, including locations, talent coordination, releases, call sheets, and client approvals, • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to keep projects moving smoothly., • Serve in hands-on production roles as needed, including Director of Photography, camera operator, lighting, audio, grip, or multi-camera support. Multiple roles may be performed at once on certain projects., • Edit projects within Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, or oversee editors to ensure post-production deadlines are met., • Support or execute post-production workflows, including organizing assets, tracking feedback, managing revisions, and ensuring final delivery., • Occasional travel may be required to support project needs, including on-site production, client meetings, or project coordination.Qualifications, • Proven track record producing and managing turnkey corporate video projects in a corporate environment., • Demonstrated ability to own projects from concept through completion with minimal oversight., • Strong ability to juggle multiple projects at once with minimal oversight., • Solid editing experience within Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects., • Proficiency in cloud-based production systems, such as Socialive, Microsoft Teams, Qumu and other RTMP streaming platforms., • Excellent client-facing communication skills and professional presence., • Strong organizational skills, especially around asset tracking, documentation, and naming conventions., • Working knowledge of production and post-production workflows.AMS Core Values Success in this position requires these values in mindset and behavior: Respect: Put people first by creating a safe, positive set environment, listening to clients and crew, and honoring time and boundaries.
