Job Description Job Title: Material Handler Job Description This full-time, first-shift Material Handler role supports all aspects of warehouse operations in a climate-controlled electronic manufacturing environment. The position focuses on accurately picking and moving materials, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and mail between buildings. Success in this role requires punctuality, strong communication, diligence, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities • Fulfill production orders from the main warehouse location accurately and on time., • Pick parts requests and deliver materials to designated production and warehouse areas., • Identify and label materials clearly, and record correct warehouse locations to maintain accurate inventory levels., • Replenish primary stock locations to ensure materials are available for production and shipping needs., • Perform and report inventory cycle counts to support accurate stock records and minimize discrepancies., • Complete daily mail runs between buildings, ensuring timely and secure delivery of documents and small packages., • Conduct light housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks to keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe., • Handle finished assembled product, including crating and preparing items for storage or shipment., • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner., • Use RF scanners and basic computer systems to support order picking, inventory tracking, and documentation., • Manually pick orders by hand, following established procedures and documentation requirements., • Climb rolling ladders up to 14 feet to access materials stored at height, following safety protocols., • Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily material handling activities., • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to coordinate workflow and resolve issues., • Manage time effectively to meet production schedules and daily warehouse priorities. Work Environment The role is based in a climate-controlled electronic manufacturing warehouse, providing a clean, organized, and comfortable setting. The standard schedule is first shift, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the expectation of maintaining full-time hours. Work is primarily hands-on, focused on physical material handling, order picking, and moving products, with minimal computer usage and no reliance on MRP systems. You will regularly use pallet jacks, RF scanners, and rolling ladders up to 14 feet, and perform tasks that involve lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
