This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing educational environment. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a health consultant on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities: • Conduct health assessments and screenings for children enrolled in the program., • Develop and implement health policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations., • Provide guidance and support to staff on health-related issues and best practices., • Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and promote wellness initiatives., • Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students., • Coordinate with local health agencies and resources to enhance health programs., • Participate in training staff on health and safety protocols., • Monitor and manage medication administration and health emergencies., • This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that can be done remotely with occasional site visits.Requirements:, • Current RN license in the state of Washington., • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or school health., • Strong knowledge of child health and development principles., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families., • Certification in CPR and First Aid., • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
