This role requires an active NY LPN license, the ability to manage a full patient assignment, and recent hospital experience. The nurse must deliver safe, compassionate care in accordance with clinical protocols while collaborating closely with RNs and interdisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities, • Manage assigned patient load with RN support as needed., • Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside nursing care on a 4×12 night shift schedule., • Provide patient care aligned with medical-surgical standards and hospital procedures., • Work every other weekend according to department staffing requirements., • Utilize Epic for charting and documentation., • Adhere to all clinical protocols, infection-control practices, and patient safety guidelines., • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and demonstrate sound clinical judgment., • Maintain professionalism and adapt to the needs of a high-volume tertiary care environment.Required Experience, • Active New York LPN license — must be in hand (no exceptions)., • Must be able to take own patient assignment with RN support., • Hospital experience within the last 2 years required.Nice-to-Have Experience, • Prior medical-surgical or acute care experience in tertiary facilities., • Experience with high-volume patient assignments.Required Skills, • Medical-surgical nursing, • EPIC charting, • Patient assessment & care planningPreferred Skills, • Interdisciplinary communication, • Time management across 12-hour shifts, • Clinical prioritization in acute careAdditional Skills, • Flexibility to meet weekend and shift scheduling needs, • Team collaboration with RNs and clinical staff, • High reliability and consistent adherence to hospital standardsHospital Highlights, • Type of Facility: Tertiary Care Hospital, • Total Staffed Beds: 528, • Scrub Color: Any combination of navy and white We are a Native American-owned, economically disadvantaged corporation that highly values diverse and inclusive workplaces.
