As the Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be working under the direction of the Materials Coordinating Supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for the handling of inbound and outbound material, loading and unloading trucks, and processing customer shipments. On a daily basis, he or she will package boxes with customer parts, build custom pallets for large orders, and use a tow motor to load and unload trucks. The Shipping and Receiving Associate is expected to understand basic carpentry and use those skills to build custom pallets and crates for customer orders. He or she must also work with our ERP software, along with online shipping tools, to process and ship customer packages. A valid driver license is required as there are times when customer orders need to be delivered or required parts need to be picked up. Attention to detail is a must, as this person will be driving a tow motor often, providing key information for the correct delivery of items to customers, and exercising safety awareness to prevent personal and material accidents.
