American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 12/15/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Acute care setting in a trauma level 3 environment, • Computed Tomography unit equipped with 4 scanners: 2 in outpatient CT, 1 in ER, 1 in CCU, • Staff rotate coverage for ER and CCU scanners, • Typical workload is approximately 20 scans per tech per day in Seattle, and 14 scans per tech per day if assigned to Bellevue, • Common exams include all basic and advanced CT procedures such as pelvis colonography, coronary scans, TAVR planning, with frequent chest, abdomen, and pelvis studies, • GE CT scanners are used in the department, • Cerner EMR, GE Centricity, and Philips PACS are utilized, • Scheduled 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, • May be required to float to Bellevue (approximately 16 minutes away) depending on facility needs, • No call requirement for travelers, • Weekend and holiday coverage scheduled based on rotation, as CT operates 24/7, • Duties include performing all CT exams, including advanced and specialty scans, in both hospital and outpatient settings, • Orientation includes facility-specific modules and working with a team member during the first week, • Staff work alongside in-house radiologists, lead techs, and an imaging manager, • Team structure involves 2–3 technologists covering the two outpatient scanners and 1–2 covering ER and CCU scanners, • Scrub color is typically navy, gray, or a mix, in alignment with department dress code, • Must maintain flexibility to float to other locations within facility network based on operational needs\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist, • Active Washington state Radiologic Technologist license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable), • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required, • Current BLS certification required, • Experience operating GE CT scanners, • Experience with Cerner EMR, GE Centricity, and Philips PACS preferred, • Must be able to start IVs as part of clinical duties, • Rad Badge must be obtained prior to assignment start, • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration, • Two professional references: one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
