Job DescriptionJob Title: Batch Maker / Production Line Operator Job Description This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment to mix and blend ingredients according to established recipes in a food manufacturing environment. You will carefully select, measure, and combine ingredients, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to food production standards while supporting overall production line efficiency. Responsibilities • Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that mixes and blends ingredients for food production., • Mix and blend ingredients strictly according to established recipes and production specifications., • Select, measure, and prepare ingredients accurately before batching and mixing., • Work on the mustard production line alongside the primary mustard batch maker to support daily production needs., • Monitor mixing and blending processes and make basic adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain quality., • Use a dolly to move materials and lift up to 120 lbs as required for batch preparation and production tasks., • Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards throughout the production process., • Use basic computer interfaces and screens to follow recipes, record production data, or monitor equipment., • Collaborate with production team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet production targets., • Perform general production and compounding tasks as needed to support the broader production line.Essential Skills, • Experience in production or general production environments., • Hands-on experience with machine operating in a manufacturing or similar setting., • Batch mixing and blending experience, preferably in food production., • Compounding or mixing experience with ingredients or materials., • Background in food production or food manufacturing., • Ability to safely lift and move up to 120 lbs using a dolly as part of daily tasks., • Basic computer skills and comfort working with a computer screen or digital interface., • Ability to follow recipes and detailed instructions accurately., • Attention to detail to ensure correct ingredient selection, measurement, and mixing.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior experience working on a food production line, especially with condiments or similar products, is beneficial., • Familiarity with working around strong food-related smells such as tomatoes or vinegar., • Comfort working with mixing, blending, and compounding processes in a fast-paced environment., • Willingness to work occasional overtime when needed to support production demands.Why Work Here? Work involves operating production and mixing equipment, handling ingredients, and using a dolly to move heavier loads. The environment is fast-paced and process-driven, with a focus on food safety, cleanliness, and consistent product quality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
