The role would work onsite Monday Friday 10:30am-7:30pm at our headquarters in Fairfield, NJ What You Will Be Doing Sampling Order Fulfillment • Deliver exceptional service by meeting and surpassing internal and external customer expectations across all sampling functions, • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, where inefficiencies are eliminated and new ideas thrive, • Maintain pristine, showroom-worthy sample areas that reflect our commitment to excellence and inspire admiration, • Lead agile workforce planningadjusting tasks in real time to match priorities and maximize productivity, • Monitor fulfillment costs (labor and shipping) to balance premium service with operational efficiency, • Oversee the strategic movement of overstockrelocating surplus inventory to offsite locations and returning it to our Fairfield, NJ site when needed, • Design and implement robust systems and audits to maintain top-tier inventory accuracy at Fairfield, NJ, • Tackle the root causes of inventory discrepancies to drive lasting improvements, • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Production to address major variances swiftly and effectively, • Anticipate space needs and plan around site capacity to keep operations flowing smoothly, • Coordinate with Design Production to align vendor shipments with inventory planning, • Build a resilient supply network by partnering with Procurement to diversify vendor relationships and safeguard against disruptions, • Forecast supply needs with precisionkeeping operations fully stocked while minimizing excess, • Create responsive systems to detect usage spikes and trigger timely replenishments, • Adjust purchasing strategies based on sales and order trends to maintain balance and agility, • Inspire a highly engaged sampling team through visionary leadership and a commitment to excellence, • Model trust, collaboration, and accountabilitysetting the tone for a high-performing culture, • Mentor and develop team members, encouraging growth and leadership at every level, • Embrace a mindset of curiosity and continuous learning, asking powerful questions and raising the bar for every role, • Clarify ownership of sampling functions so every stakeholder understands their impact, • Address performance and cultural alignment with clarity and compassion What You Will Need • A minimum of 5 years experience in logistics, fulfillment, or operations management, • Prior exposure to high-volume environments (500+ orders/day) is highly desirable, • Proficiency in ERP, WMS, and shipping platforms to support seamless order flow and inventory accuracy, • Familiarity with both local and international shipping processes, • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking, • A collaborative spirit and proven success working cross-functionally to drive communication and project execution, • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is required, • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a strong plus The Phillip Jeffries Experience At Phillip Jeffries, we believe exceptional work deserves exceptional care.
