Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for reviewing project drawings and scopes of work, developing schedules and deployment plans, and managing the execution of assigned projects from start to finish. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between customers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The Project Manager will oversee field operations across multiple job sites in the tri-state area, conduct site surveys as needed, and manage assigned project teams, supporting both new construction and retrofit projects. Responsibilities: • Review project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate schedules, labor plans, and deployment strategies., • Walk job sites to perform site surveys, assess conditions, validate scope, and identify potential risks or constraints., • Coordinate with customers, architects, consultants, and other trades to ensure alignment on project scope and timelines., • Collaborate with internal teams including routing, procurement, programming, operations, and finance., • Manage multiple concurrent projects and crews operating across various job sites., • Oversee field operations to ensure work is performed according to design, standards, and schedule., • Interface directly with customers to provide schedules, updates, and status reports throughout the project lifecycle., • Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports outlining progress, milestones, and completion percentages., • Work closely with Finance to review milestones and provide documentation required for billing and invoicing., • Manage project flow from material procurement through delivery, staffing, installation, and closeout., • Review construction plans, rack elevations, and bills of materials to establish labor estimates, material requirements, and timelines., • Coordinate low-voltage trades for data, security, AV, and related systems., • Ensure system functionality is complete and obtain customer sign-off upon project completion., • Manage client expectations from delivery windows through final system operation. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5+ years of former field technician experience., • At least 2 years of project management experience., • Strong knowledge of TIA/EIA standards for copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and fiber optic cabling., • Experience with backbone cabling, horizontal cabling, and MDF/IDF build-outs., • Proficiency in terminating, testing, and certifying cabling using Fluke or equivalent testers., • Familiarity with cable tray, conduit, raceway, and pathway design and installation., • Knowledge of rack and cabinet installation, patch panel management, and labeling standards., • Ability to interpret structured cabling drawings, riser diagrams, and specification sheets., • Working knowledge of low-voltage infrastructure., • Experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) is preferred., • Experience coordinating low-voltage trades for security, AV, data, and DAS systems., • Familiarity with industry-standard manufacturers, including:, • Data: Panduit, Leviton, CommScope, Belden, Superior Essex, Corning, Hubbell, Ortronics, • Security: Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, and similar platforms, • Strong communication, organization, and customer-facing skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to physically walk job sites and perform site surveys as required. Salary: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year Job Type: Full-time, On-Site We are currently only considering candidates who can reliably commute to various job sites across the NYC/NJ. This role is not open to relocation and relocation assistance is not provided.
